Teresa Hansen spent much of her childhood at her Grandparent's cottage in Northern Wisconsin. Memories of hours spent in front of the big, warm fireplace on damp and drizzly days inspired her deep desire to be a full-time artist. The serenity of this environment, her sons and family stimulated her love to express herself through her artwork, even today.

While raising her two boys, Jason and Jeremy, Teresa continued to explore other mediums: pencil, paint and bronze. Her ability to work well in fine detail in portraits of stylized realism has been nationally accepted and awarded. With patience and skill she executes her commissions to a likeness so accurate in each detail that she brings each character to a brilliant vitality. The qualities of beauty and grace convey quiet strength and genuine talent; be it sketch, relief or bronze life-size (from miniatures, life-size, to monument).
